Shojin Ryori for Every Table
Shojin Ryori is a traditional Japanese plant-based cuisine rooted in Buddhist teachings, celebrating nature and the natural flavors of each ingredient. Raised by a Buddhist monk father and a mother who ran Shojin cooking classes, the owner makes this tradition accessible through casual set meals for people with diverse dietary needs, including vegan, gluten-free, and religious requirements. Using fermented seasonings and carefully selected Japanese ingredients, the restaurant serves traditional and reimagined Shojin dishes.
